Firefox 3
I have been enjoying my laptops upgrade to Ubuntu 8.04 for a couple days now. I really like the added speed that the new Firefox 3 beta seems to have. I initially thought it odd that they included beta software in their LTS release, but that speed….!
The only thing that is really getting under my skin so far is a little bug with Firefox that I have been running into over and over again. When I click on a radio button or checkbox, they just disappear. Dunno whether they end up checked or not until you click somewhere else and then they show back up again. And to top that off, sometimes I have to resubmit pages because what I clicked on that visibly shows it’s checked, doesn’t seem to get submitted that way. Arrrgh!
I did see there are some bug reports out there on this issue but they seem pretty old. I just wanted to know if anyone else has seen this behavior too? Maybe I just need a clean install instead of an upgrade? Maybe I just need to install Opera 🙂
