Bread
Trying to get some much needed downtime this weekend, although I am on call, because I have been a bit under the weather lately. I really wasn’t intending on doing anything this weekend at all, except my wife mentioned to me that she had never had real homemade/handmade bread. I took this as a great opportunity, and ran out to get the ingredients, and I helped her make a couple loaves. Her first homemade bread ever. She really enjoyed it, and it made the house smell great too! What a nice diversion. Everyone should take the time out to do this. You really get your frustrations out while kneading the bread dough, and the results are good enough to eat 🙂 Not to mention that the bread costs less than a quarter per loaf and tastes way better than store bought.
