E-Cig Review: LeCig

LeCig PigCig

LeCig is one of those companies with a sort of novelty gimmick, but I have to say it’s one that I enjoyed. Some days it’s the simple things that bring a smile to my face! 🙂

LeCig sells lots of things, but they allowed me to review their PigCig starter kit . I actually really liked this. I enjoyed the whole piggy thing and I also enjoyed picking out a pigomizer to try with it, but I’ll get to that in a minute. The PigCig kit comes with 2 batteries, 2 cones, a 5 pack of mega cartomizers, a USB charger, a mains adapter, a manual and a nice LeCig case for $75.

Although 650 mAh batteries come standard with the kit at that price, I picked out a 1300 mAh too, for $4 more. I got a nice black and a red one. These are eGo-ish looking batteries which are sporting 808 connectors on them. They have lighted buttons and are 3-click on and off so you can carry them around with no fear of accidental activation. For some reason, possibly the colored covering, these are more rugged / solid feeling than a regular eGo battrery. Either way, they worked surprisingly well. They both included matching battery cones as well. This is a nice edition, however, I am not sure it’s needed other than for aesthetics. You cannot use a clearomizer with the cone and using the cone with one of their cartomizers produces a stiff draw. It does look nice though 🙂

Speaking of their cartomizers. You get 5 with your kit. They have several choices to choose from, menthol, hilton, regular, tobacco, or blank. I chose menthol so can only comment on that. The menthol was *very* menthol. Most other menthols in the e-cig world that I have tried are actually more of a minty thing. Not this. There was *no* mistaking this for anything other than a straight menthol smoke. Not bad at all and I do not believe any regular menthol smoker would disagree. They should be quite comfortable with this. The cartomizers themselves are mega cartomizers. Yes, they are big, probably twice the size of a regular cartomizer. I cannot imgine a person not getting 3-4 packs of cigarettes out of one of these things. I puffed on one for a week and it still vapes like brand new. So, if you are counting, that’s probably the equivalent of about 2 cartons of smokes you get with this kit. The price is starting to look a lot better isn’t it? Especially when you consider you also got at least $30 worth of batteries.

The other bits and bobs I mentioned that accompany this kit are the USB and mains adapters and the case. The charger stuff is pretty standard issue. The case, however, is very nice. This is one of those XL size semi-soft cases, emblazoned with the LeCig logo. This easily holds all your kit all together and then some without being too big to be pocketable. In fact I have been using this to carry stuff for couple weeks now in my jacket hand pocket. I really like it. It is also large enough that you can fit a couple extras in there as well, like a small bottle of e-juice and maybe a pigomizer or two if you are so inclined 🙂

LeCig also allowed me to check out one of their Pigomizers and a bottle of their e-juice as well. The Pigomizer is a nice little 1.6ml clearomizer designed to work really well with the PigCig, Just screw it on, fill it up and vape the day away! These things are designed well, they vape with no plasticy or burnt flavor, wick well and don’t leak. What more could you ask? A note here that apparently they had some of these previously that people complained leaked. Let me be perfectly clear here. I have had this one going for a couple weeks and not even a drip. I also should mention their juice. I tried their LeCig branded Cappuccino. It is 100% pg based and it is delicious albeit a bit throaty.

As I mentioned, I really liked these guys. Mike was enormously helpful and understanding with me and their product really seems durable and top notch. It would sure make a great Christmas present for you or a loved one who smokes. Go check out their product today and let them know Linc sent you!
